It inspects nothing, applies nothing and employs no applicators. Each enquiry is referred to one independent pest control partner, which alone is responsible for its inspection, its treatment plan, the products it uses and the manner of their application.

The partner is responsible for holding the pesticide application business licence required by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, for employing a certified applicator in the relevant category, for its proof of financial responsibility, and for compliance with product labelling, which carries the force of law. In New Jersey the licensing authority is the Department of Environmental Protection. Philadelphia Pest Control and this website hold no pesticide business licence, applicator certification or insurance of their own, make no claim to any, and have not verified any partner's.

Licence and certification numbers are provided on request, by calling (855) 974-4733 or by asking the technician before or after a visit, and the issuing department can confirm whether a licence is current. They are withheld from this website for the privacy of the businesses involved. Nothing here is legal advice on responsibility between a landlord and a tenant, and nothing here states that a homeowner's policy covers insect or vermin damage; such damage is generally excluded.
